Grammartiste is committed to equitable payment rates based on clients’ financial resources. Those on low incomes (such as non-funded students, new businesses, new writers, and grant-funded NGOs) are charged a lower rate than profitable businesses, established writers, publishers, and government departments (et al.). Clients from countries with a low value currency are also eligible for lower rates based on individual circumstances.
NON-FUNDED STUDENTS/NEW WRITERS:
$28 per hour – a Master’s thesis usually takes between 12-16 hours
– new writers of fiction and non-fiction are charged either by the hour or on a project basis
FUNDED STUDENTS AND ACADEMICS:
$35 per hour – a PhD thesis generally takes between 25-40 hours
– the time required for general academic proofreading is dependent on length and language competency
BUSINESSES, ESTABLISHED WRITERS, PUBLISHERS, GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS (ET AL.)
$60-$100 per hour – or agreed on hourly rate or project price depending on individual circumstances
